1. October 4 APPLES

    Hi parents,

This coming Tuesday we have APPLES as our theme.

Below is a short video of the art project we will be doing.  I would like to get some of the children started soon after you arrive.

When a space opens up you and your child can go over to the art table like we did last week.

Remember let your child do it themselves, with a small amount of guidance from you.
See you then. To see the short video ...click on APPLE ART below!

      Have a great weekend!    LS

PS  Last Tuesday was our preschool Pumpkin Farm Trip.   Next year your child we get to go with you or another adult.   See you Tuesday!   Take care!

You can view it in two different places.
1.      Immanuel Lutheran Preschool Downers Grove Facebook page.
2.

first week back to school after Christmas

What a fun week we had at preschool!  Sorry, if not everyone was named or photographed!  We will try again next time!   Please let your children see this and it would be fun to hear the comments they make!  Thanks so much!  LS

We certainly enjoyed our day!   Well, we enjoy all of them!   There was Jesus Time with the Yellow Class and we saw Jack and Jill our marionettes.  They showed us how we should be an encourager and not make others feel sad by making upsetting comments to them.  We are so happy that Jesus forgives our sins and helps us forgive others.

We drew lots of fun pictures, practiced making the letter A.  Grownup (Upper case) and child (Lower case) letter Aa's.

We read the book " My Apron"  by Eric Carle.
We worn little aprons with pockets and also painted our own apron.   Snack was string cheese from Charlotte, yummy!  Our afternoon goes so fast.  It is filled with so much love and learning!  Mrs. Fechner and I call them the "Best Blue Class in the Whole Wide World!"
